About

The Hmoob Cultural and Community Agency, Inc. (HCCA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1982, by the Hmong refugees of La Crosse County of Wisconsin. The purpose of the agency is to serve refugee, former refugee, and other ethnic population in the Coulee Region by offering services, resources, programs, and facility to fulfill their informational, educational, and cultural needs and interests in order to enrich their live during the process of cultural integration into the mainstream society. For everything that HCCA is engaged in, we believe that our dedication, commitment, and passion through our leadership, honesty, and integrity will enable our clients to become productive citizens.

HCCA’s primary mission and vision of the is to provide progressive community development, advocacy and cultural revitalization through holistic services, education programming, outreach and community connections.

HCCA is currently governed by 9 Board of Directors who are elected annual by HCCA’s members.  Of the 9 Board of Directors seats, 7 are filled with active members of the HCCA and 2 are filled with community-at-large members. Each of the board member serves a 3-year terms.
